Adding to two memorable days at the game filled plains of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, this safari also takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the world’s greatest bird spectacles.
Other than the bird population of different species and especially flamingos that carpet the lake, the park has its fair share of wildlife that includes the endangered black rhino. In case of emergency, we provide 24/7 Flying Doctors emergency evacuation to the nearest hospital. Our departures are daily, subject to minimum 2 persons booking.

TRAVEL PLAN

Day 1: Nairobi -Masai Mara Game Reserve

On Arrival, you will be met and welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our guide, after briefing, depart for Masai Mara, drive through the lush Kikuyu farm land to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, descend the escarpment via the Loita Plains before mounting its western rim into Masai land. Red-clad, with spears always on hand, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, commendably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon you have the first game drive in search of wildlife. Masai Mara is the best-known game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Meal Plan {FB}.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full day in the reserve, Considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 1510 sq Kms of the Maasai Mara adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one eco-system. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. A full day game drive with picnic lunch at the hippo pool on the banks of the Mara River where the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] takes place while the killer crocodiles awaits.

Day 3: Mara-Nakuru

Masai Mara Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park.
Break out for an early breakfast proceed for a morning section game drive returning in the camp for lunch at 1200 noon, after lunch, check out and depart Masai Mara for Nakuru, drive along the Loita Plains to the floor of the Rift Valley and into Lake Nakuru Nat. Park.” ornithological paradise.” Arrive Lake Nakuru in the evening, check in at Nakuru Chester Hotel. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds in the lake. Also many species of game found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Day 4: L. Nakuru Nat Park – Nairobi

Have early pre breakfast game drive in this pink lake to capture that early morning sun rise over the Flamingos, return to the lodge for breakfast, check out after breakfast and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
L. Nakuru Lodge: Situated in the south east ecological niche of the park is the Lake Nakuru Lodge,
an oasis of comfort and excellent service, with commanding views of the flamingos for which Lake Nakuru is justly famous.

It is another world for the visitor, where one easily forgets the hustle and bustle of the city. The lodge blends well with it’s surrounding and the animals often browse peacefully close to the lodge and environs, much to the
fascination of the visitors.
