This 4-day safari takes you to Amboseli National Park, famous for its big game and great scenic beauty. After a 2-night stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge, you will proceed east to Tsavo-West with a one-night stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Amboseli Nat. Park, a scenic and breathe taking destination with Mt. Kilimanjaro on your door step. Visit the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. Due to its enormous size, this animal and plant heaven was divided into two parts Tsavo East and Tsavo West, for easy administration and management. This wilderness is home to over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino and at least 7000 elephants.
In case of Emergency, every one of our clients gets a free cover with AMREF Flying Doctors Evacuation service for the duration of the safari. In case of an accident or medical emergency, AMREF Flying Doctors will evacuate the injured or patient to a reputable hospital in Nairobi. This service though covers only rescue hence we recommend that you arrange for the necessary Travel/Medical Insurance at your home country before commencing your travel to Africa.

TRAVEL PLAN
Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
On Arrival, you will be met and welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our guide, after briefing depart for Amboseli N.P, arriving Amboseli Nat. Park in time for lunch. This park is especially known for its prolific elephant population, and the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro setting. It is a home for the wet land birds since the park is dominated by swamps. Day 2: Full day in Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Day 3: Amboseli Nat. Park -Tsavo West National Park
After an early morning breakfast, say goodbye to your host as we depart Amboseli Nat. Park drive east crossing the dynamic volcanic formations at Shaitani Lava flow to arrive in Tsavo West for lunch to the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. Due to its enormous size, this animal and plant heaven was divided into two parts Tsavo East and Tsavo West, for easy administration and management. This wilderness is home to over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino and at least 7000 elephants. The park is the location of Africa’s most famous adventure story “Man eaters of Tsavo”, in which two lions where responsible for eating over 500 workers who where building the Uganda railway also known as the “Lunatic Line ” by it’s opponents in the British Parliament in 1898. The story was made famous in the 1996 movie “The Ghost and the Darkness.” Arriving in the lodge in time for lunch, Evening game drive at 4:00pm. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Day 4: Tsavo West-Nairobi
An early morning wake-up call for a pre breakfast game drive, the sweet melodies from the many different species of birds will cater for that wake-up call. Return to your lodge for breakfast, after a hearty breakfast say goodbye to your host, you’ll depart at 10:30 Am proceed south to the white beaches of
Mombasa or head back to Nairobi.
Sentrim Amboseli’s location deep inside the reserve guarantees close encounters with the park’s renowned elephants. Also happily roaming the grasslands are buffaloes, wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, impalas and several predators e.g Cheetahs and Lions.
The camp is located 280 kilometers south of Nairobi and 260 kilometers north of Mombasa. During the wet season, the rains flood the lake bed and
the surrounding area.
