ABOUT

This package is based on a flying safari which visits three parks: Amboseli Nat. Park, a scenic and breathe taking destination with Mt. Kilimanjaro on your door step, the Masai Mara Game Reserve, “Jewel in the crown of Kenya’s tourism industry” is known for its big wildlife concentration all the year round, the Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards and Buffaloes and not forgetting the Big Cats and L. Nakuru National Park; In addition to the bird population of flamingos that carpet the lake, the Park has a fair share of wildlife including the endangered species such as black rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe and the Columbus monkeys. The package offers excellent game viewing, luxury accommodation in lodges or luxury tented camp and plenty of leisure time.

On Arrival, you will be received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our guide, for briefing before being transferred to the Hotel Which is ideally situated within the city centre for overnight stay in preparation for the start of the Safari.

Accommodation in this safari can be a combination of lodge and semi luxury camps on request.
In case of emergency, We provide 24/7 Flying Doctors emergency evacuation to the nearest hospital.
Our departures are daily, subject to minimum 2 persons booking.

TRAVEL PLAN

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

Take a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park departing Nairobi at 7.30am and arrive in Amboseli park by noon. Transfer to the lodge with a Game drive enroute. Lunch and afternoon game drive follows. Amboseli is home to the wet land birds since the park is dominated by swamps. Dinner and overnight at the Ol Tukai Lodge. Meal plan {FB}

Day 2: Full day at Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, take a morning flight at 8.30 am. to Masai Mara Game Reserve Arrive at 10am. You will be picked at the airstrip by your safari guide and proceed for the mid-morning game drive before being Transferred to the lodge to check in for Lunch, an afternoon game drive follows at 16.00hrs. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Meal plan {FB}.

Day 4: Full day at Masai Mara Game Reserve

Take an extensive game drive into the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills and river-line bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander, a full day game drive with picnic lunch at the hippo pool on the banks of the Mara River where the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] takes place while the killer crocodiles awaits.

Masai Mara is considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 1510 sq Kms of this reserve adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one eco-system. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. From June to September, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas. Dinner and Overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Day 5: Another day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Take an early morning game drive before breakfast. Balloon safaris can be arranged. Later, enjoy a sumptuous bush breakfast with champagne served as the sun warms the plains! After breakfast, you can relax by the pool. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Meal plan {FB}

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

An early morning pre breakfast game drive then depart Masai Mara after breakfast and drive past the loita plains to the floor of the Rift Valley and into Lake Nakuru Nat park, “Ornithological paradise” Arrive Lake Nakuru National Park in the evening, check in at your Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds in the lake. Also many species of game found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park-Nairobi

After early morning pre breakfast game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and say good bye to your hosts as you depart for Nairobi at 11am via the breath taking sites of Lake Elementaita and overlooking Mt. Longonot, the Great Rift valley and the beautiful Kikuyu escarpments. Arrive in the afternoon. On arrival, transfer to the airport for flight home.
