ABOUT

Spending a night in a tent in a campsite makes on feel closer to the nature, This is the most popular camping safari running for 11 days/10 nights and features all of Kenya’s most popular game parks and sanctuaries. The Safari starts at the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. This wilderness is home to over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino and at least 7000 elephants. Amboseli Nat. Park, a scenic and breathe taking destination with Mt. Kilimanjaro on your door step. You’ll then crosses the country through Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of At Mount Kenya, enjoy a night at the lodge built on stilts overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick where elephant, buffalo and several species of antelope come to drink water. With an optional guided nature walk in the Mt. Kenya rain forest and hike to the Mau Mau Caves. The safari then proceeds to Samburu Game Reserve is in a semi arid area where we find most of the rear Animals found in the north of the equator. Then to L. Nakuru National Park; In addition to the bird population of flamingos that carpet the lake, the Park has a fair share of wildlife including the endangered species such as black rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe and the Columbus monkeys. Finally Enjoy a visit to Masai Mara Game Reserve, “Jewel in the crown of Kenya’s tourism industry” is known for its big wildlife concentration all the year round, the Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards and Buffalo and not forgetting the Big Cats. This safari is also available in a reverse order to finish your safari in Mombasa.

Accommodation during this safari is a combination of 3 nights in the lodge and 7 nights in semi luxury camping. Our Camps are designed to match with the surrounding environment, Accommodations of our luxury large spacious tents with a changing area, The tent canvas Wall front can be opened completely to allow an open view from the sleeping and bathroom areas. Relax on the balcony with safari foldable camp chairs and a circular wooden table where you can sit and watch wildlife roaming in the bush. Our guest suite facilities include king size twin/double beds and singles, all with en suite bathrooms with flash toilets hot and cold showers throughout the day. The early morning wake-up calls are catered for by the sweet melodies of the many bird spices which nests in the bushes within the camp.

In case of emergency, we provide 24/7 Flying Doctors emergency evacuation to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL PLAN

Day 1: Nairobi -Tsavo West National Park

On Arrival, you will be met and welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our guide, after briefing, depart and drive along Nairobi-Mombasa highway proceed to Tsavo west, the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. The park is the location of Africa’s most famous adventure story “Man eaters of Tsavo”, in which two lions where responsible for eating over 500 workers who where building the Uganda railway also known as the “Lunatic Line ” by its opponents in the British Parliament in 1898. The story was made famous in the 1996 movie “The Ghost and the Darkness.” Enjoy your lunch at the Camp and enjoy your first afternoon game-drive including a visit to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary., dinner and overnight stay at Camp. Day 2: Tsavo West National Park – Amboseli National Park

Depart in the morning after an early breakfast to Mzima Springs then drive through “Shetani
Lava Flows” to Amboseli National Park, famous for its spectacular view of the peak of
Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Arriving camp in time for lunch. Dwarfed by The majestic snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, at 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. Meal Plan {FB}.

Day 3: Full Day Spent in Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of
Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles
South-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro
Rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. other attractions include; Observation hill which allows an overall view of the whole park, especially the swamps and elephants; swamps below the observation hill hosts many elephants, buffaloes ,hippos and a variety of water flow like pelicans; Egyptian goose and a wide variety of wetland birds. Day 4: Amboseli National Park-Mt. Kenya

Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Mt. Kenya National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon guided nature walk in the Mt. Kenya rain forest, on you room balcony enjoy an evening game watching near the lodge where animals flock to drink and saltlick in the waterhole under the floodlights. Day 5: Mount Kenya National Park – Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve, set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with spectacular scenic landscape. The Ewaso Nyiro River dotted with doum palms meanders through the reserve giving it an oasis setting the camps are set on the banks of the river. In the afternoon depart on an exciting game-viewing drive in search of game found only north of the equator that include the long necked gerenuk, Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx and the Somali ostrich. Day 6: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve

Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and Reticulated Giraffe. Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru Nat. Park

Depart Samburu Game Reserve after breakfast to the floor of The Rift Valley making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive L. Nakuru in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Day 8: Lake Nakuru National Park -Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart your camp and drive along the floor the Rift Valley before mounting its western rim into Masai land. Red-clad, with spears always on hand, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, commendably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Day 9: Full day in Masai Mara Game reserve.

Take an extensive full day game drive in the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills and river-line bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander,
Masai Mara is considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 1510 sq Kms of this reserve adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one eco-system. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. a full day game drive with picnic lunch at the hippo pool on the banks of the Mara River were the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] takes place while the killer crocodiles awaits. Day 10: Another day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

This is another day out; You will have an early morning balloon safari before proceeding for the day game drive. a very early wake up call to prepare for a half day game drive, returning in your camp for lunch, the afternoon at leisure, you can have a visit to a nearby Masai village before proceeding for an evening game drive at 1600hrs. Day 11: Masai Mara Game Reserve -Nairobi

Have an early breakfast before exploring another different area of this park, this is to capture the early morning actions, return to the Lodge for lunch, check out after lunch and depart for Nairobi arriving in the evening.
